How to view the history of any changes

How to view the history of any changes to your personal details and monitoring the status of any requests you have made to amend your details

If you have made a request to amend your details, and wish to monitor the progress of the request, you can use the "History" tab to do this.  You can also use the history tab to see details of previous requests (i.e. the details the system previously held for you), and what your details were updated to.  To use the history tab, follow these steps below.

Step 1- Refer to the "Personal Details" tab.

Step 2- Select "History".

Step 3 – Select the "View Changes" icon to view details of the change.

HANDY HINT - The History tab screen shows you a list of all the changes you have made or requested to make, with the most recent at the top.  The Type column refers to the tab on which the change was requested/made i.e Details, Personal or Beneficiary.  The Number of changes column shows how many fields were changed on the tab.  The view changes icon allows you to see the exact detail of the change made or requested.  If a folder icon displays in the notes received the column, this means there are notes available from the approving line manager regarding your request.

Approved – your line manager as approved your request for change and your details have been updated.

Rejected – your line manager has rejected your request for change and your details have not been updated.

Deferred – your line manager has seen your request to update your details, but has not yet actioned it, therefore your details remain unchanged.

Step 4- You can view any notes your line manager has left for you regarding your request, by selecting the Notes Received icon as follows:

HANDY HINT - This view will then show you what your personal details were before you requested them to be changed, and what they were updated to in the value after change column.  A value in the column may appear blank if there were no details assigned to you before you requested the change, or as part of the change process, you removed some data from your account.  If no option is chosen in a drop-down menu, Please Select will display as per this example.
