Pattern Groups – what are they used for?

Once the user has created their ‘Shift Patterns’, they can create ‘Pattern Groups’. Pattern Groups have a pattern associated to them and are used in order to group together all the staff working on the same pattern, and therefore allowing the rotas for these staff to be generated in one go.

Once assigned to a group, the pattern can then be applied to selected staff within the group from the required date, to complete the scheduling process for staff an generate their rotas.
