Absence Adjustment Tile
The ‘Absence Adjustment’ smart tile allows users to make amendments to staff allowances individually. This is particularly useful where a particular staff member may have a separate agreement on how much allowance they have for a leave period for a particular absence type, or if a user has less allowance than other staff members on their contract, for example, they may have sold some leave. This smart tile can also be used to create a lieu process within the system. For example, a lieu absence type can be created, When a staff member works time in lieu, you can then assign the number of days or hours they have to take back as time in lieu to the lieu absence type, and then book them as taking time in lieu using the absence type. This allows you to create a balance of lieu time to take, and only allow the staff member to book lieu time for the correct number of days or hours that they have earned. This smart tile can also be used to monitor the audit history of leave already booked for staff member, and an audit history of any amendments made to their allowances. The Absence Adjust tile is found in Management


Step 1 - In the search for staff, enter the staff member & press go

Step 2 - Enter the Period of absence needing to be viewed.

Step 3 - Select the Absence type to be viewed from the drop down and press go.

The screen will now view the Absences as selected above



If additional holiday absences need to be added to a staff member they can be added here.
In The Add New at the bottom of the screen add the date range the additional absence is being added for and then the time frame i.e. - 1 day and press go .. this will then add an additional days holiday to the staff members allowance.
